Technical Sales Executive - Electronics
Glasgow (Covering the UK)
£20,000 - £30,000 DOE OTE £ 60,000 (Uncapped) Plus Mobile Phone, Laptop, Expenses, Mileage
Our client is a family business established in 1986, specialising in electronic information display systems. They manufacture, supply, install and service visual information systems throughout the UK. An opportunity has now arisen as a Technical Sales Executive to join their team.
This role would suit an experienced Technical Sales professional seeking to progress their career in a fast paced, forward thinking organisation.
As the Technical Sales Executive you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for all sales throughout the UK.
You will be tasked with meeting sales targets, recognising and generating new business opportunities, and promoting and selling the company’s existing products and capabilities.
Your duties as the Technical Sales Executive will include:
- Identifying opportunities and closing sales for new business
- Visiting existing clients and new prospects
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
- Producing client quotations
To be considered for the role of Technical Sales Executive you must have previous electronic engineering sales experience or technical sales experience. Alternatively, you will have an electronic engineering background looking to move into sales. You must be proficient with MS office and hold a valid driving license.
Additionally, you will be self driven and results orientated with a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You must be an excellent communicator – both written and verbal.
Although not essential, any experience in Electronic Visual Display products and systems would be beneficial to your application.
